6 weeks post op issue

I had a 9cm incarcerated fatty hernia in my left scrotum for over a year. Took care of it 6 weeks and recovery has not been foo bad. A week ago I noticed my left side if my scrotum saggy and squishy. Emailed surgeon and told me its seroma. However yesterday I felt a hard cord a d possible small hard lump on top of my left scrotum. Its like the begging of the scrotum. Is the spermatic cord? Strange that all this happening after 4weeks. Also i under if the skin was stretched so bad that swelling is go it looks like my hernia is back.
