I'm seriously considering hair transplants...but am I considering too late??

Rest assured I have good donor spots on the sides of my head, but judging by the top of my scalp and front of head, is it too late for there to be decent coverage? It's pretty significantly thinned/emptied. :(

I hate looking at the top of my head so much but I'd prefer not to have to shell out $10k for a procedure that might not even look great in the end.
