How much do you use/rely on shields?

I got zhongli on his first ever banner, since then he has quite literally never left my party. recently ive started building new teams and sadly i cannot sit in the comfort of zhongli's shield forever but its making me realize how lowkey bad i am at the game, dodging specifically lol. It's like learning the game all over again
