Overheating GPU

Was playing this on Sunday last without issue. Monday, my gpu kept shutting down. Turned on the monitor and notice that Forever Skies is making my GPU temp spike to above 84c (which is the shutoff).

I don't know if some update occurred between sunday or monday or if it is just an issue near the mountain ranges which is where I was floating about. Terrible crashes, of course when windows shuts off the graphics driver due to overheat.

I ran up some other UE games and they all stayed about 54-60c which is completely tolerable.

I also turned down graphics settings in chasing this down. Nothing stopped the overheating.
