Pulling up laminate
Hi - I'm considering buying a flipped house. They put laminate, i think LVP throughout the house, about 2 years ago. It looks fine, but I don't love it, and would really prefer wood. The realtor knew the house before it was renovated, and knows it was hardwood floors. But I don't know the quality of those floors or how the laminate was installed. I'm trying to get before pictures and information about installation. But generally, how hard is it to remove LVP? And does installation usually involve removing or damaging the underlying floor? Is it possible we could just undo what they added easily, or is that probably a pipe dream?
EDIT - I got the photos from before the renovation and it looks like a mixed bag in terms of the state of the floors. I can't even tell if it's all wood? Some looks like it might also be pressed or engineered.
