Tivimate provider

I recently got a fire stick and have a few questions if you guys don’t mind answering. First tivimate is just an app to use with a iptb provider correct? Without the provider the app is basically useless? Second if what i’ve seen is correct you need a provider to get your channels so where can i find a provider?
