Opinion on these bits?

I see a lot of discourse on these bits and it’s hard to know what information about them is true or not.

I’ve seen some professional bit fitters say they’re inherently unethical due to their mechanics and others say they’re fine if used correctly or in soft hands.

The main argument I’ve seen against twisted wire bits, is that they’re inherently unethical because of the twists which create pressure points in the mouth when at rest, so no matter how they’re used, they are harsh.

The main argument I’ve seen against any gag bit in general is that it gives conflicting signals to the horse by applying pressure to the corners of the lips and to the poll at the same time (telling the horse both head down, and head up). so no matter how they’re used they are harsh.

What are your thoughts? How do I know who to believe?
