Is it possible to arrive late?

I am scheduled to check in on Monday 1/13. I am from Los Angeles and am currently evacuated from the fires. I am supposed to leave on friday morning but with nearly no end in site for the fires i’m not sure if i’ll make it by my check in date. Has there been situations where disney has been flexible with arrival date? I am also concerned if this will effect my role security. I am currently placed in the best role/location i could even ask for and i would be devastated if this made me lose it.
