Is the Legacy Collection worth it on sale?

So, I’ve been playing Destiny 2 since launch so i have all the expansions and stuff (except of 30th anniversary) but they are all on my Xbox at home. I’m in college now and once a week or whenever I have time I like to jump on. The thing is that I don’t have any of the expansions on my laptop that I use at college, so I don’t have access to the expansions paid content. Right now the legacy collection is about $18 on steam. Is it a worthy investment?

Also I have D2 downloaded through the xbox app on my laptop so if i do get the legacy collection through steam I assume i’ll have to download D2 through steam as well. Will that be a hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling or if I try to download D2 through steam while I have it through xbox will it just be playable through steam?
