The Good and Bad of HotSchedules
As a part-time employee who is in high school with extracurriculars, I'm grateful for HotSchedules because I can set my availability around my schedule. It's really a blessing. But it is so annoying to watch people who have the same luxury as I do drop their shift 30 seconds after it's been posted because of something they forgot they have to do. One or two times is cool, I get it things slip your mind, but when you drop shifts every. single. week. What was the point? If you didn't want to work, just change your freaking availability so that OTHER people can get scheduled those hours. Also, if you know you can't make it to work, don't wait 30 minutes before your shift starts to drop it and expect somebody to pick it up. And don't complain when you text me and I tell you I can't come in. You knew we're sick 6 hours ago, maybe if you dropped it then I could've picked up, but I have stuff to do. It gets on my nerves so bad.
