Is the CFA possible without a background in finance or stats?

Quick background: I graduated from a state school majoring in marketing. I was not the best student as I didn’t see the importance till college (3.0 on avg). Took a finance course my senior year and really enjoyed it. Decided to not stay another year to pursue a finance major as I’d rather graduate and move on.

Fast forward 2 years, I ended up at a very well known boutiquey bank. Started out in client services role, and I am now in a back office role handling managed accounts and funding. Many of the People at the bank hold a CFA as they are PMs or advisors. Now, what scares me is all these individuals have some sort of math or finance background. I know the importance of the test and the difficulty that comes with.

However, maybe I’m just overthinking it. if anyone could provide experiences or tips on how this test will work coming from a near-to-no hard skill finance background I’d appreciate it.

Edit: I appreciate all the replies. For those that come back to the post, is there a way to preview the CFA content or other prep before signing up? It would most likely come out of my own pocket as it is not a requirement in my current role, so if I’m gonna do it I want to fully commit.
