How long did it take those with long relationships who broke up

It was 5 years for me. We broke up a few days ago because I wanted kids and she didn't. (yes, I'm aware. Why did it take 5 years? It's complicated)

It's even harder letting someone go when you still both want to spend the future together. Living together, you molded personalities off of each other and can't imagine life without them and now, just like that you're not together anymore.

It's really hard. I can't even get out of bed.
