Billy taking over songs?

Does anyone have the Billy effect.. where he covers a song so well and you like his version so much, you just don’t care as much for the original?

Not a bad problem, but I have a laundry list of songs on Spotify that when they come on, I just flip over to Nugs and listen to Billy’s cover of it.

He is such a stand up guy and so respectful and so often gives the highest praise, in real time, to the musicians he covers. But sometimes in the back of my head I’m thinking.. you just dominated that.. that shit sounds like your song now.

Anyone else?
