DDJ FLX2 vs DDJ FLX4

I’ve just started out trying to dj. I’ve messed around a little bit on rekordbox and am looking into getting a controller. I see that most people recommend the ddj flx4 for a first controller but just to save money I’ve been looking at the ddj flx2. I’m just wondering exactly what I’ll be missing out on by buying the flx2 instead of the flx4. Would I not be able to just have hotkeys on my laptop for controls that aren’t on the flx2? I like how compact the flx2 is even though the size of the flx4 wouldn’t bother me. So, just wondering why the flx2 is not as good as a beginner controller as the flx4.
