Baby first birthday “cake” pie/puree??

Hi all,

This is probably unconventional for this subreddit, but I figured I’d try.

My baby is 11 months old today and currently in feeding therapy. Right now he is not chewing and only can tolerate thin purées without gagging and vomiting.

I would love to do a smash cake at his birthday party, but realistically I do not think we will be there. I want him to enjoy his food and be happy eating it.

So I was wondering if anyone had any good cream pie recipes? Or pudding pie? Does anyone have any creative suggestions for writing on those or putting a cake topper?
