Reverse chance me: I need some more OOS match schools (and a few safeties too) for engineering.
Location: Don't really care, so long as it's not an extremely small middle-of-nowhere town. I'd love a big city or even a college town but this isn't really a dealbreaker for me
Region: I live in DFW (Texas) and I'd like to leave the DFW area. I'm more likely to stay in state but I already know most of the reputable schools in Texas, so focus on OOS schools.
Major: Engineering, likely aerospace or computer engineering. I may also lean towards physics or mathematics.
Curriculum: Not too sure what this means, I just care about getting a good education with pretty solid networking. I'd like a school with a very strong stem (sciences, mathematics, engineering) background but also have other reputable departments.
Size: I'd prefer >5000, I want a school leaning more towards the bigger side (30-60k)
Costs: Under 20K per year. I don't come from a wealthy background at all so need-based aid is a must for me. For OOS, I plan on applying for a lot of scholarships but I'd like to learn some matches just based on curiosity
Other information: I've only ever visited TAMU (college station) and absolutely loved the campus there. UT is my dream school. Politically, I'd like a school that just isn't super radical (which I hear TAMU is very conservative)
Schools I’m applying to: A&M, UT, Texas Tech, Penn state, Purdue, UC Boulder (I'm in desperate need for good OOS schools with reasonable tuition/scholarships)
Stats:
3.9W, School doesn't do UW (I hate charter school)
1300-1450 SAT (I haven't gotten any official scores yet, these are just rough estimates from practice tests)
