Gym claims no payment but charges cleared
As the title says my gym was set to auto renew for this month ( has been like this for a yea ) everything seemed normal and the payment says cleared for both charges as i pay for two people.
I received a text from my gym saying the payment was declined so i decided to call up and tell them that the statement on my side shows it’s been cleared ( it’s been 24 hours since the charge) but the employee at the gym was insistent that the charge didn’t go through and will drop. He says to give it an extra day to see.
Is this correct? Can the charge still be declined even though it’s saying cleared as the status?
