andriod galaxy a13 keeps saying it's overheating and won't charge

this is a issue that has just started happening today. my phone battery was getting low so i tried charging it but it just kept saying that it doesn't recognize audio device and that the phone was overheating. so i powered off my phone for a few and cleaned the port with a q tip that had 91 percent rubbing alcohol , came back and tried charging the phone again after a hour with different charging cables (all type c of course) and even bought a new charging cable but it still won't charge! is there any fixes for this? or am i screwed?
