Heads up. Some of these roads are entirely covered with ice to the point of being unable to walk without taking baby steps

Just warning everyone. I'm in Rensselaer visiting my mother, her road the road and the 2 connecting roads (one being a main road) are literally entirely covered in ice.

I couldn't even walk without taking baby steps and even then I was slipping. The entire road is absolutely covered with ice. I don't know what in the world these government services are doing out here with weather precautions but it clearly doesn't involve taking precautions with all of the roads. It's ridiculous.

I could see if the roads around my mothers house were country roads that have barely no traffic but the roads around her house are far from it. One of the connecting roads I'm referring too is a highly traveled road that connects 3rd ave extension to 151 right next to Regeneron.
