Deciding to join the air Force
I've decided at age 23 that I'm going to be joining the Air Force.
I'm kind of getting tired of just doing the same mundane things daily, and I would gladly give up 4-6 years of my life to join. I just hate how I'm barely figuring this out, I was just so blindsided and thickheaded the years before especially during and right after highschool, and the crowd I was around didn't help either.
Thankfully I'm completely away from them and I'm doing fine on my own, but I don't want to just sit around and mope doing nothing most of the time. So I'm currently trying my very best to study and I plan on taking a practice ASVAB (because bro I was dumb af) and I am shooting to get a high score and grade is why I'm already trying to study because I really really want to join and putting my all into it.
Plus I'm currently a single guy and have been the last 3 years, I don't wanna wake up at 27, 46, or 68 years old and then regret not having my chances taken whenever I could have. So I'm shooting for the military
Any general advice? And I know I'm going to have to go through boot camp and all of those harsh conditions, it's definitely not going to be a fun time. But I'm trying to make my already strong mentality even stronger.
