What does family enmeshment look like in your family?

I thought family enmeshment was oversharing other people’s business or am I wrong?

It’s lack of boundaries and wrongful communication?

I’m learning terminology and I think I’m always more wrong than right, but I’m trying to understand.

For example, im my family members share everyone’s business, mostly focusing on the bad or drama that they are going through. They hardly speak of the good things and may not even hear anything good that was said, but then they go on to gossip to other family members.

Is that family ennmeshment?
