TreatDirect VS SkinDoc in UK

Hi everyone, After 1 year of begging my GP and my skin worsening severely, they agreed I need Accutane, but the wait is 8+ months. I can’t wait that long so I’m considering private options. Clinics and private dermatologists is quite expensive (if my calculations are right, for 8 months worth of treatment it will cost £2500+, depending how much medication you’ll need.

I’ve found SkinDoc, which seems ok, however the price £1100-1500 only covers consultations, and if we’re including blood tests and pills, it will come to £3000+ (home blood tests) or £5000+ (private blood tests) (assuming medication costs £100pm).

TreatDirect looks like the cheapest option (£1395, 4-5 consultations, 3 blood tests and medication for the duration of the treatment included). However, I’m not sure what kind of pharmacy the meds are distributed from, they’re not disclosing this on their website, it’s their “partner” but I have no way of checking is it’s NHS approved and legal etc. So I am a bit worried, it seems too good to be true for the price.

I’d be grateful if anyone could share any experiences they had with them. Or if you live in London and went through a private Accutane treatment, please share which service or clinic you used for it.

Thank you in advance!
