The ultimate coping strategy to manage all your symptoms

Doesn't exist.

If we knew the answer to that we wouldn’t all be here, would we? Lol

Tldr: What are the best coping strategies that have worked for you?

I’ve tried a ton of coping strategies to manage my symptoms. Some worked, some didn’t, but the biggest thing that’s helped me (other than Adderall) is consistency. The times when I manage to consistently do something every day no matter how small, toward my goals or just something to improve tomorrow me's stats (health, skills, etc), have been some of the most productive and happiest periods of my life. I find it so much easier to manage my symptoms when I have that momentum and keep it going.

Easier said than done, though.

One time, I managed to stay consistent every day for an entire month. How? Don't laugh but, I put one of those “semi permanent” temporary tattoos on my hand and mentally associated it with being mindful. Every time I saw it, it reminded me to do at least one thing that day and for a while it worked. But when it eventually wore off, so did my streak. Now that I think about it, I should order another one.. Eh I'll do it tomorrow.

I’ve even thought about getting a real tattoo, but knowing my brain, I’d probably just start ignoring it after a while anyway so I'm afraid to commit.

I'd love to know if anyone else tries to be mindful and consistent every day. How do you remind yourself to stay on it even when the train of thought leaves the station?
