Are people with ADHD really that different from other people?
Hi. Im a guy, 26 years old. After maybe a lifetime of not knowing what was wrong with me i figured out i may have adhd and got tested. For no ones surprise i was positive but i still havent started on meds as just last year i had a pretty bad experience with antidepressants and im still a bit afraid of any kind of psychiatric meds.
Honestly i have been feelng like an alien trying to act like a human, just struggling with everything that other people would just do as if it was nothing.
I recently started talking with people with adhd and heard a lot of different stories, many wich i could identify with.
I wanted to ask all of you about your personal experience feeling different (or not) from the rest before or after finding out that you had adhd.
Thanks in advance, im still pretty much trying to figure out a lot of things.
