Why do they never allow the baby to fuss?

As soon as she starts fussing everyone is trying to hold her and pick her up. Babies are allowed to be fussy, as long as needs are met. The over excessive holding and coddling is just going to make her an "attached at the hip" child and they'll never be able to get anything done. I'm so glad that Brice spoke up about it (not like it makes a difference anyway, nobody ever listens to him). ( And NO I am not saying holding or picking up a fussy baby is wrong, sometimes they fuss a little and they don't need held or picked up)
